How this model treats overtime

This page models a simplified monthly check: compare worked hours to the official 2026 production-calendar norm, then split overtime into a 1.5× band (first two hours per overtime shift) and a 2× band for the remainder. It is inspired by common Russian payroll practice, but it is not legal advice.

A frequent mistake is to pay overtime at a flat blended rate. Here you can see how much pay sits in the 1.5× bucket vs the 2× bucket once you state how many shifts included overtime.

Overtime stacks up from peaks, sick leave, and substitutions. ShiftBox ties schedules to actual hours, highlights risk earlier, and helps payroll review—not manual tab math.

Holiday and night premiums have their own rules. This tool focuses on the basic overtime split; use ShiftBox for calendars, norms, and payout history.
